Become a Member

Becoming a member of the Friends of Bowker Creek Society is one of the easiest ways you can help protect and restore the Bowker Creek watershed! Membership helps support restoration projects, community outreach, volunteer coordination and planning, water quality monitoring and citizen science.

Membership is just $10 per year per individual and $20 per family to cover all members of a family, with two votes per family at our Annual General Meeting.

The membership year runs from January 1 to December 31.

What do you get by becoming a member?

• Support local environmental restoration, stewardship and education even if you don’t have the time or means to volunteer. See other ways to get involved.
• Join hundreds of like-minded community members taking action to protect and restore Bowker Creek.
• Membership also helps demonstrate the breadth of community support to our funding partners when applying for funding.
• Invitation to our AGM to share your thoughts on our work and cast your vote in the Board of Directors election.
• Email updates regarding what is happening around Bowker Creek and the watershed, such as: special events, celebrations, acknowledgements, volunteer opportunities and advocacy efforts in support of Bowker Creek watershed renewal.
